A crevice in this granite outcrop holds the ashes of both my Mother and Father. A permanent memorial for a couple of remarkable people. It is a great place to sit and gather one's thoughts also.
A special place just 5km from the Farm in the Julimar State Forest. Taken nearly 12 years ago on a 3M pixel Fujifilm Digital Camera. Re-worked with modern software and I am very happy with the result. Unfortunately this area where we traditionally had a Father's Day BBQ's has been since destroyed by 4WD Hoons.
The crumbling ruins at the farm, Castle Hill, Bindoon, WA. The remains are heritage listed. These cottages were built in the 1880's and the "Worker's" cottage was occupied by my brother until 2003. He sold them at that time. I have many memories as a teenager and as young adult of these cottages, when they both were habitable. At storm in 1986 un-rooved the old homestead and it has slowly crumbled ever since. I have slept in both of them.
