The mighty King George River falls off the Kimberley Plateau with a thunderous roar directly into the ocean far below. A very wild and remote place accessible only by boat or helicopter.
Not too many people have been here as it is only accessible by helicopter. Some time far into the future an archeologist will discover fragments of stained glass on a inaccessible ledge well below the spinifex bush on the left of the image. They are the remains of a very expensive filter which slipped off my lens, this however is one of my favourite images taken with that filter.
