Thousands of people travel to Broome and other select places on the West Australian coast to view the "Stairway to the Moon."
Many don't realise the extreme high and low tides that create this wonderfull phenomena also create another special event - Red Tides.
When the Spring tides rise so high the Indian Ocean swells also impact upon the fragile Pindan cliffs, turning the sea almost blood red on the high tide.
This only happens on a very special piece of coastline near Broome.
Here is todays image from James Price Point.
Can you imagine surfing this and being photographed while you did it.
"Dah Dum, Dah Dum!"
