My first visit to "The Pinnacles" yesterday in the Nambung National Park was a real surprise.
A dull, hot, cloudy and humid day didn't bode well for any stunning photography and my visit was just so that I could tick it off on my bucket list.
Upon entering the Park, within seconds I was blown away at the colour and mystical nature of the whole environment.
Every few minutes a shaft of bright sunlight would burst through the clouds and light up some part of the alien landscape. The reflected glow created an amazing light with just a hint of shadows and my camera was clicking frantically.
Now I know why aside from Wave Rock, the Pinnacles is the second most popular International tourist destination for day trips out of Perth.
